Editorial Standards & Content Review Process
How LearnCompareTrade researches, writes, reviews, and updates the educational content on this site. These standards apply to every article, course chapter, and resource we publish.
1. Editorial Independence
LearnCompareTrade is a free educational platform. We do not sell trading signals, charge subscriptions, take broker commissions on user activity, or accept paid placements within editorial content.
The site does have partner relationships with two regulated companies (MyPropGenius and PipsPal). These partners are clearly identified on their dedicated pages under our Resources section, and we never integrate partner promotion into educational articles. Our analysis of trading concepts, market mechanics, and strategy is independent of any commercial relationship.
2. Who Writes and Reviews
The LCT Analysis Team consists of contributors with multi-decade backgrounds across institutional FX trading, retail brokerage operations, and trading education. Every article on the site is researched and written by a team member with direct experience in the relevant area.
Every article is then reviewed by at least one additional team member before publication. Reviewers check for: factual accuracy, alignment with current market conventions, internal consistency with other published content, regulatory accuracy for the regions we serve, and clarity for the article's intended audience level.
3. Human Authorship and Personalisation
All educational content on LearnCompareTrade is written by our human analysis team, not generated by AI.
The platform's personalisation engine adapts which chapters, examples, and exercises each student receives based on their assessment results — it selects from a library of pre-written content. It does not write or alter the articles themselves. Personalisation determines pathway; authorship is human.
4. Sources and Methodology
Our content draws on the team's combined practical experience, publicly available market conventions, regulator publications where relevant (FCA, ESMA, CFTC, ASIC, MAS), and standard textbook material on technical and fundamental analysis. We aim to teach how things actually work in practice rather than only reciting theory.
Where market conventions differ between regions or broker types, we note the variation. Where a claim is contested or has multiple credible interpretations, we present the disagreement rather than picking a side without saying so.
5. Update Policy
Articles are reviewed and updated when our analysis changes, when market conventions shift, when regulations affecting our content change, or when readers identify gaps or errors.
Every article displays the date it was last reviewed in its byline. The corresponding dateModified field in our structured data is updated at the same time. We do not silently change content without bumping the review date.
6. Corrections
If you spot an error — a factual mistake, an outdated convention, a broken example, or an unclear explanation — please email us at info@learncomparetrade.com. We respond to all corrections within 24-48 business hours.
For substantive corrections that meaningfully change an article's claims, we update the article and bump the review date. For minor edits (typos, formatting), we update silently.
7. What We Don't Do
- ✗ We don't provide financial advice. Content on this site is educational. We don't recommend specific trades, give individual investment advice, or tell you what to buy or sell.
- ✗ We don't sell signals. Anyone selling guaranteed-return signals in trading is a red flag. We teach how markets work, not what to do tomorrow.
- ✗ We don't take commissions on broker referrals within educational content. Our top brokers and partner pages are clearly marked separately and never embedded in lesson material.
- ✗ We don't promise returns. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. We teach risk management precisely because most retail traders lose money.
